We'd like to inform our valued customers of the upcoming End-of-Life of XHTMLSuite Series 1.
With the first release in 2004 the XHTMLSuite Series 1 codebase meanwhile certainly has come somewhat to ages and has met its limits.
Experiencing a real rush for our state of the art product XHTMLSuite in2it we feel that it is time to move forward and concentrate energies and efforts on this trend-setting editor.
Time Schedule
- As of April 1, 2009 we will stop distribution of XHTMLSuite Series 1
- As of July 1, 2009 support for XHTMLSuite Series 1 will cease (forums will be accessible but not writeable)
- As of December 1, 2009 the XHTMLSuite Series 1 support forums will be removed
What does that mean in detail?
This means that with the official End-of-Life (EOL) comes an End-of-Support (EOS) which will effectively take place on July 1, 2009. After that time we will
- not answer any inquiries regarding XHTMLSuite Series 1
- not provide support for XHTMLSuite Series 1
- not release any product updates for XHTMLSuite Series 1
- not release any security fixes and/or patches for XHTMLSuite Series 1
Does this mean I have wasted my money?
Absolutely not! XHTMLSuite Series 1 still is a first class product and if you have used it without problems until now there is no reason why you should get problems later. It however does mean that features, you might hoped to be implemented, won't find their way into XHTMLSuite Series 1.
Can I upgrade to XHTMLSuite in2it?
Definitely yes! If you have purchased a license for XHTMLSuite Series 1 there is a cost effective upgrade option available.
If you have purchased a personal license (domain license) you can use the domain name as a coupon in order to get your upgrade discount. Customers who have purchased business licenses (server/IP licenses) may use their licensed IP addresses as coupon codes.
